Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the form in one sentence and the AI builds it. If you want to change something you drag, click and type. There is no HTML, no CSS and no embed code to write unless you choose to copy the snippet for an external site.
Are the forms GDPR compliant?
GDPR consent is a native field type, so the tick box, the wording and the record of consent are built in rather than bolted on. Submissions are stored securely and you can see, action and archive each one. Machinence gives you the tools to comply; the lawful basis and privacy policy for your own business remain yours to set.
How many forms can I build?
Launch & Scale includes 15 AI generated forms a month and Enterprise & Market Leader includes 40, alongside our ready made templates on both plans. There is no charge per submission, so a form that does well does not cost you more.
What happens when a form gets a lot of responses?
Nothing. It keeps collecting. Most builders cap responses by plan and close the form once you hit the limit, which is the moment you least want it closed. Machinence does not cap responses.
Can I put a form on a website that is not built with Machinence?
Yes. You can embed it on your Machinence site and choose the page, or copy a snippet and drop it into WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or a hand built site. You can also download the form as an HTML file or a PDF, or print it.
Where do the submissions go?
Straight to your inbox and into a submission workflow that runs from new to read to replied to archived. Because the form builder sits inside Machinence, an entry can also become a CRM contact, an appointment or an invoice without anyone rekeying it.
Can people upload files, like a CV?
Yes. File upload is one of the fifteen field types, so applicants can attach a CV, a photo, a screenshot or a document. They do not need an account of any kind to do it.
Can I build a quiz that scores people?
Yes. There are quiz question and quiz result field types, you set the correct answers and the points they carry, and you define result screens that appear based on the score. It suits knowledge tests, skill assessments and business readiness quizzes.
Can I change what the AI produces?
Completely. The AI writes the first draft in seconds and then everything is editable. Reorder fields by dragging, duplicate one, delete one, rewrite any label, placeholder or help text, switch the theme, change the button colour and add fields it did not think of.
Can I try it without signing up?
Yes. Anyone can build two forms free with no account and no card. It is the same builder, not a cut down demo, so you can see exactly what you would be paying for before you decide anything.
Will the forms work on a phone?
Yes. Every form is responsive by default and adapts to the theme you chose, so it looks right on a phone, a tablet and a desktop without you building three versions.
Can I reuse a form later?
Save any form to your Content Hub and pull it out again whenever you need it. Useful when you run the same event, intake or campaign more than once.
